What week would an 11 year old girl with Developmental Delays fit in?
Hey Dawn, that would be Session 1 - June 29 – July 4. Please fill out an application and send it in!
Take care and thanks for visiting Camp ASCCA online!
Hello! We are considering sending our Type 1 Diabetic child to the Camp Seales Junior Camp this June. Do you require criminal background checks on all your counselors/staff (anyone in direct/prolonged contact with the children)?
Hello Sue,
Camp ASCCA does do background checks. That camp is done in association with the Southeastern Diabetes Education Services.

So, I will have the camp director comment and write back to you.
Thanks for commenting.
Robert and Sue,
Camp Seale Harris does do background checks on all the staff and volunteers!
Hello! I am a freshman at Troy University and I am interested in working as a counselor this summer at Camp ASSCA…but I am not sure if I can stay the whole summer. Is there any way I could sign up for different sessions to work?
My son Aaron has attended the Camp ASSCA session 6 the past 2 summers. He is an adult in an electric wheelchair. My question is can he attend session 2 since he is both mentally and physically disabled?
Thank you for your time.
I wish I could be there for the whole summer and longer!
