Huntsville Kiwanis Club Generous Gift

Kiwanis clubs have done so much for Camp ASCCA. The Huntsville Kiwanis Club has not only been generous with their contributions, but also with their time.

Each year, club members take the drive down to ASCCA transporting campers to a week of recreation and fun. That makes the Huntsville Kiwanis involvement with ASCCA even more rewarding. Each club member that makes the trip comes back with a deep understanding of the value a camping activity has in these children’s lives.

Bryan Bennett, Huntsville Kiwanis President, has made that trip before. You can see it in his eyes and hear it in his voice. Dana Rickman and I were fortunate to get to talk with Bryan in Auburn, on Saturday. Bryan was in Auburn for the state Kiwanis Club International convention at the AU Hotel & Conference Center.

Bryan presented Dana with a check for camperships and we are deeply grateful for their generosity.
