Singing the Day Away

Ialways enjoy interacting with campers who find ways of having fun no matter what they are doing. Shaun Thompson is one of those people. The first activity that I was able to see when I got back to camp yesterday was music. Shaun happened to be among the group of campers in the chapel.

According to his counselor, Craig Dinnett, he had been singing the whole way to music. Apparently Shaun was singing some Christmas carols. I watched him as he sang songs and played some of the instruments. He seemed to be really enjoying himself.

The singing did not stop in the chapel. This morning when I was with Shaun’s group at the horseback riding ring, he was singing the whole time we were there as well. While he was waiting for his chance to ride the horse, he was singing various folk songs.
