A Night of Many Choices

Usually there is a time most afternoons for the campers here to pick which activity they would like to participate in. Normally this is an afternoon event. Not today. After dinner this evening, the campers all went down to the pavilion where they were able to choose from a list of various activities. This list consisted of fishing, boat rides, pool, hanging out in the pavilion or game room, a water fight on the ballfield, golf, or bocce ball.

I went around and was able to watch a handful of these. It was nice to be outdoors doing such things without having to battle the heat as much as we do here during the day.

The most popular activity of the evening was definitely fishing up at the pond. That is where I spent most of my time tonight. The picture to the right is of one of the campers, Andy Rutledge, holding one of the fish that he caught tonight.
