Meet a Camper: Matt Gillies

There are several campers that have been coming to Camp ASCCA for many years now and Matt Gillies is one of them. This is his eighteenth year at camp. I always enjoy speaking with returning campers about their experiences throughout the years and why they keep coming back, so it was a joy to spend time with Matt.

I remember Matt walking up to me the first time he saw me earlier this week and introducing himself. Though he is a soft-spoken young man, he is very polite and has nice things to say when he does speak.

Update: Matt did get to do the zipline today. See the post - Zipline Excitement During Adult Week below and you’ll see Matt. His part starts about half-way through the video. Matt pulled himself all the way up to the top of the tower remarkably fast. We were all impressed.  Way to go, Matt!  Great job.
