Some people come for the fun, others come to get away from their busy lives, but Mike and Sherri Wilson come to learn.
Mike and Sherri are from Monrovia, AL and recently attended the Seale Harris Family Weekend. Their son Luke is diabetic, but it was also a chance for the entire family to come to Camp ASCCA.
While the kids are enjoying the zipline and tubing, the parents are able to meet with one another and discuss how they handle diabetes. Some of the most valuable information is obtained by listening to other parents talk about their experiences. The Wilson’s even picked up some ideas for bedtime snacks.
