Baby Deer :: Hurt Leg :: Seeks Refuge at ASCCA

Deer are cute lil’ animals. Of late, many have been running through camp as Fall approaches. More and more deer are being born.

Today, Angelyn was riding with me in the golf cart as we returned from the lakefront. What did we see, but two little baby deer. One of them seems to have an injured front left leg.

I couldn’t help but think how appropriate it is that the deer sought out sanctuary at Camp ASCCA. I hope both deer stay within the confines of ASCCA’s hundreds of acres. This one little deer is not ready to outrun hunters this season.

I just wanted to share the video of the deer. No music and little commentary on the video. It is just some cute video of two deer visiting camp during the Physically Disabled and Mentally Disabled Family Camps for Fall 2006.
