Great Big Soccer Ball :: Problem Solving and Teamwork

Joining together to make a ball bounce 25 times seems simple, doesn’t it? Mmmm, not too simple … but it can be done.

Drake Middle School students worked with Matt Rickman, ASCCA camp director, to finally acheive their goal. But, like most worthwhile exercises, it took several tries.

This video also offers you a great chance to see the many improvements that have been made to the Hoyt Webb Pavilion at Camp ASCCA. Note the new floor, walls and paint. The lighting is also much brighter with the addition of high quality quartz gymnasium lights. You’ll see that some of the work on the side openings is still underway. Predictions have all of these improvements being completed by the end of the month. The bathrooms on the outside are being renovated, too.
