Hey Everyone!

…Evaluations are valuable tools to improve all aspects of camp…

Well, we had a great vacation at the beach. It was nice to get away for a while, but it’s great to be back at Camp ASCCA. When I returned, of course, my mail, emails and phone messages were all backed up.

I realized that a lot of the mail I received was evaluations or surveys from organizations that camp serves, organizations we belong to or staff reference forms. Some of them are very involved and require a great deal of time to fill out. Now, don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind helping out these organizations and of course past staff, but it did get me to thinking about our own services.

Camp ASCCA has sent out many of these evaluations over the years to parents, user groups and organizations that we serve. I believe they are valuable tools to improve all aspects of camp. Having said that… we did not mail one out this year, So, I wanted to see if I could do an informal evaluation with you. I am curious whether or not anyone is reading these blogs that me and our other staff write. So, whoever is listening, let me know what you think of camp, this website, our blogs, information on the site, or anything else you want to critique or compliment. We are very interested, so please leave a comment, even if it is just to say hello.

    I check the journal at least once a week! Of course, I am still very homesick for Camp ASCCA and all of you. This is probably the time of year with the least amount of internet traffic since applications have not yet gone out for next year, the holidays are upon us, and school and work takes up everyone’s time. However, it is important to constantly update the website and your blogs are a tremendous asset! I am glad you had fun at the beach although I am jealous!
