Camp ASCCA Welcomes Jeff Veres

Meet the newest addition to the ASCCA staff! Recently, Camp ASCCA hired a new maintenance supervisor, Jeff Veres.

…I fell in love with it! I came up here for a week and I’ve been here ever since…

Jeff grew up in Dadeville for most of his childhood. He moved to Montgomery during middle school and high school, but returned to Dadeville to graduate. Jeff has a beautiful family that includes a 3-year old girl, Zoe, and two dogs. His wife, Adrianne, has been involved in the Seale-Harris program for many years. Thats actually how they met!

In the summer of 1999, Jeff had the opportunity to work one week at Camp ASCCA. He never knew he would find his future wife and his future job. Jeff says he fell in love with Camp ASCCA immediately and was able to come back a few weeks later to some of the ASCCA sessions. Over the past 5 years, Jeff has also been involved with Sports Camp. You can tell Jeff has ASCCA in his blood.

Jeff will be doing alot of “behind-the-scenes” type work. Camp ASCCA wouldn’t be able to function properly if it weren’t for the efforts of our maintenance staff. It takes a lot of hard work to keep all the facilities and buildings in working order, we’re glad we’ve got Jeff to help us out.

The following video is an interview with Jeff. It is 3:54 in length and is a 6.4 mb download.
