Justin and Josh

I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday and that you all have a great 2007. Our year here at Easter Seals Camp ASCCA ended great, we received several donations just before January. Without the generous people that give Camp ASCCA donations it would not be possible for us to operate.

I would like to take this time to brag about two of our favorite campers that have been coming to camp for many years, Justin Strickland and Josh Cusick. Justin and Josh met here at camp a few summers ago and they instantly became good friends. They have also always been some of the staff’s favorites; Josh was voted Prom King the summer of 04 and Justin was voted King this past summer. Both of these young men are not only great campers and fun to be around, but they have great moral character. They both have taken a personal interest in being advocates for Camp ASCCA. Justin was our guest speaker at our annual meeting this year and also personally raised money for camp at his High School. Josh followed suit by asking coworkers, friends and relatives to give donations to ASCCA, in lue of gifts for his 21st birthday. Combined, they have both raised close to $1500 for Camp ASCCA.

Camp ASCCA is a unique place that has some of the best campers and staff in the world. Josh and Justin understand that; they have given of themselves to make camp a better place. Their generosity is extraordinary and I hope will inspire others to give to such a wonderful place.
