Montgomery Kiwanis Donation
On Tuesday, January 23, Tom Collier and I traveled to Montgomery to attend the Montgomery Kiwanis Club meeting. We had a warm welcome from their members and enjoyed a delicious lunch.
Their club had invited us to attend the meeting because they were ready to make an amazing donation to Camp ASCCA for the new SportCourt and lighting in our pavilion! We were very grateful for their donation, which has given Camp ASCCA the opportunity to improve our facilities.
The new SportCourt has been the perfect addition to the pavilion because it used to have a concrete floor. It is much more enjoyable to play basketball, dodgeball, or any other game on the new floor. All of the boundaries and lines are now visible. It even adds more color to the pavilion with its bright blue and red sections. The campers, staff, and guests of Camp ASCCA will continue to enjoy the floor for many, many years to come. Special thanks to the Montgomery Kiwanis Club for donating the money to make it possible for us to have such a nice, new SportCourt in our pavilion!
