RYLA - Rotary Youth Leadership Awards 2007
The RYLA - Rotary Youth Leadership Awards for 2007 are coming to Camp ASCCA today. Students will work, have fun, and share ideas and goals through Sunday. They’ll also be doing camp activities. We’ll be getting video and photos.
The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards program is an intensive leadership training and conference for high school juniors and seniors. The program will include lectures and discussion periods with skilled and prominent leaders, as well as group activities, recreation, good food and fellowship.
Sponsored by Alabama’s Rotary International Distric 6880 clubs, RYLA is a very popular event.
What do students do at RYLA?
In addition to learning advanced leadership techniques through group discussions and training, this event will offer attendees the unique opportunity to meet and network on a state level with other exceptional young leaders from across Alabama. Participants will also explore and discuss current issues and topics pertinent to leadership in a global society.
Look for posts with video and photos from this weekend’s events. We’re happy to welcome RYLA and Rotary to Camp ASCCA.
