Lindsey and Bethany :: Alabama Anchor Club State Officers Chat About Camp ASCCA
Anchor Clubs have been supporting children and adults with brain-related disabilities for years. This year, Alabama Anchor clubs adopted Camp ASCCA for a statewide fund-raiser and this past weekend they made a very generous donation to the ASCCA lakefront program area. As you can imagine, Anchor clubs like projects with a water theme.
The Anchor Club donation means a great deal to Camp ASCCA and we thank them for their hard work and dedicated service.
Anchor Clubs allow “young people to make a dynamic difference
in their world through volunteer service…and have FUN while helping others. Anchors learn valuable skills that prepare them to be good citizens for the rest of their lives. They have opportunities to lead and organize service projects and play active roles in club programs. Often they work side by side with their sponsoring Pilot Clubs to promote awareness and provide hands on service to people with Brain-Related Disorders.”
