Seale Harris Diabetes Family Weekend :: Mallory and Blake
Tree climbing is always a fun activity for campers - of all ages. At the recent Seale Harris Family Diabetes camp, all of the campers and their family members had a chance to climb our big ol’ tree on the shores of Lake Martin.
Tree climbing is so much fun, and we do it so often, I think it might be time to join the Tree Climbers International club. Hey, they are headquartered in Atlanta, so it would be like joining our fellow tree lovers next door.
And, we agree with their philosophy.
According to Tree Climbers International, “Tree climbing is no longer just for children. It’s for people of all ages who are young at heart and ready for the pleasure trees can provide.” We agree. If you haven’t climbed a tree in awhile, come and hold your camp or retreat at Camp ASCCA. We’d love to hook you up to the harness and let you climb away.
In this video, Mallory and Blake are among the tree climbers taking on the challenge. They have tree climbing stories of their own, too. Just listen.
The video below is 9.9 MB download and lasts 5:40 minutes. Enjoy!
Did you know that Camp ASCCA is in Facebook? If you are too, please go on over and “Friend” Camp ASCCA. This way you may keep up with what we’re doing all the time. Join the Camp ASCCA Facebook group, too.
