Paul McGowan, and students from the University of South Alabama, have launched a Web site for the group “Comrades of Courage” (COC).
…the group’s vision - mutual support and respect - and it serves as an advocacy group for USA students with disabilities…
The group has a long history, actually. “Almost four years ago Staci Balsan and I were approached about starting a student organization at South Alabama to support students with disabilities. With some encouragement from administration we created the Comrades Of Courage. Today COC is a thriving organization and we hope the group will continue on long after we have graduated and moved in new directions,” writes Paul.
The site contains a collection of resources and content. Visit their Comrades Of Courage Picture Gallery, a list of their Services, the group’s Constitution, and Testimonials.
The group’s motto? “Be A Link in the Chain Of Change.” Please visit the site and give them your support.
By the way, how do you think we learned of this new site? Well, Paul sent us a message through Facebook. Thanks, Paul.
