If you’ve been able to read the last few posts, you can see that I’ve been doing a lot of “Rotary traveling”. Yesterday, however, I did not have to go far. I’m a member of the Alexander City Rotary Club.
I was the program for the meeting and was able to update the members on our summer activities and show them the Session 1 slideshow. The group responded very well and one member reminded the group that “this is the reason we have our fundraiser - the Rotary Golf Challenge.” I’m pictured here with our 2007-08 president, Sharon Hardy.
The Rotary Golf Challenge is a two-day event held annually in October sponsored by the Alexander City Rotary Club and hosted by Willow Point Golf & Country Club and FarmLinks Golf Club. Funds raised go to assist two local charities, Easter Seals Camp ASCCA and Children’s Harbor. To find out more, just let me know!
