Session Four Parties in the Pool

Session four began Camp ASCCA style with a fun pool party last night. For a while the weather looked like it was going to storm but the rain held off and
the campers had some fun in the water.
The pool party started off with any camper who wanted to get in the water without a lifejacket taking a swim test, if they swam the width of the pool they did not have to wear one. Then everyone put on their goggles, life jackets and swim gear and jumped right in. Campers got to know each other by talking and swimming together in the pool.
Their counselors even joined in on the fun in the pool. They played with the campers and some helped campers swim. Lindsey, Jorja, Lalane were lifeguards and Jenn also got to help, they sure did a great job at making sure everyone was safe.
Campers had fun playing with beach balls and noodles. If the pool party was any indication of this coming up week, it is going to be a fun and exciting one filled with awesome campers!
