Today is the last day for my summer internship at Camp ASCCA. This has been a wonderful summer and I am going to miss all of the campers and
staff members whom I have met over the past two months.
I really feel this is one of the most special places on earth, the campers are just so awesome and I am so glad I had the opportunity to write about them and record all of their memories on film.
One of my favorite places to take pictures was the pool party. It was usually held on the first night so everyone was so excited about the week ahead and anxious about what was to come. It was so great to be able to take pictures of the counselors interacting with the campers while they swim. The counselors here at camp are wonderful and it was great to be able to help introduce them through staff interview.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to read my blogs and watch my videos. It was truly a learning experience and I am sorry about the early posts, they were a little rough! Thanks to Dana and Robert for helping me, teaching me, and giving me some amazing opportunities.
And most of all thanks to Cathy and Alisha for all of the fun and good times we had, even when the server was down we still managed to get everything done.
I am so thankful I was given the opportunity to work here this summer, it will always hold a special place in my heart! It has taught me more than just how to post, take pictures and interview. It taught me to always believe in people, you never know just what they might accomplish.
Did you know that Camp ASCCA is in Facebook? If you are too, please go on over and “Friend” Camp ASCCA and join the Camp ASCCA Facebook group, too.
