For this video post, we bring you an interview with two women that have made life for people with disabilities better - for several years. Amber Cotney, or simply “Cotney” to everyone at ASCCA, and Heather White - our aquatics director - have been working hard all summer long. And, they are not finished yet.
…each summer counselors and program staff alike work hard to keep the ASCCA experience fresh and fun…
Both ladies have a long history with Camp ASCCA. In this interview, you’ll hear about Amber’s summer as Head Counselor, a new experience for her, and the new
programs Heather has helped get going for campers.
Longtime favorites of campers and counselors alike, Amber and Heather are always fun to chat with at ASCCA. We left the *out-takes* in on this one. Amber gets her usual, unexpected, walkie talkie interruption. Heather, on the other hand, bemoans the low water level we’ve experienced due to the drought.
The good news on the drought? The lake levels have at least stopped dropping and Heather, through innovation, has been able to continue her lakefront aquatics activities.
Please watch the video. It is a 11.5mb download and lasts 3:57.
