Matthew “Matty G” Greetham is wrapping up his second summer at Camp ASCCA. He was last here in 2005, and he decided to come back this year! Matty is from Leeds Metropolitan University in England, and, like Phil Peel,he found out about Camp ASCCA through Camp America.
Matty’s funny accent and expressions always give his campers and the other staff a good laugh, and so does his wardrobe. No matter how high the temperature rises, Matty can always be found wearing his signature black shirt. He has assured us, however, that he has five identical shirts and wears a clean one every day.
So far, Matty says his favorite thing about America is Manhattan, but he doesn’t mind working in rural America one bit! He loves to fish and he’s really enjoying the sunny weather, so he fits right in at Camp ASCCA!
Camp life has made an impression on Matty, and he says the hardest part of camp is saying goodbye. We’ll have a hard time saying goodbye to him, too! Click on the video below to meet Matty and hear some pointers on camp attire!
