Camp ASCCA is in the middle of Adult Session 2, as well as a heat wave, and our campers are loving a relaxing, fun addition to the activity rotations. The game? Bocce ball, of course!
…while Bocce offers a competitive atmosphere, the rules are simple and it is easily adaptable…
According to Program Staff member Lacee Andrews, Bocce is definitely a game for adults, so it’s been played almost every day for the past two weeks! It’s also a great game for camp because while it offers a competitive atmosphere, the rules are simple and it is easily adaptable.
There really isn’t a person at Camp ASCCA who can’t play or that doesn’t enjoy Bocce! Our two courts have been packed with players during every morning and afternoon rotation that it’s been offered. Not familiar with the game? Watch the video below to hear Lacee Andrews and Corey Webb explain the rules and adaptations, and watch a little Bocce in action!
