Jim Yerkey Presented an Award

Mr. Jim Yerkey of Dadeville, was honored Tuesday night with an award from Easter Seals Camp ASCCA. John Stephenson, Camp Administrator, presented Yerkey with an “Ina Watson Special Appreciation Award†for his long-time volunteerism and support of the camp. This award is named to honor the late Ina Watson – who was a special former employee and significant volunteer for camp.
Yerkey was presented this award at the Alexander Civitan Club’s annual awards banquet,
of which he is a member. Stephenson commented, “Camp ASCCA traditionally has held an awards ceremony at camp, but this year we wanted to reach out to the award recipient’s friends, family, civic club’s, and so forth to honor him or her at their chosen placeâ€.
