I‘m sure many of our web site readers are aware of the tremendous physical transformation camp has undergone the past 2 years. Our 5 year plan for improvements, Project Renew, has made great progress and been a joy for all associated with camp. The newly renovated pavilion, bathrooms, and health building, among others, have received rave reviews from our campers and user groups.
One area that I believe will also draw high praise is the construction of a beautiful stone
retaining wall in front of the pool area. This area has long been an eyesore and when complete will be a perfect compliment to the stone retaining wall located directly along the walkway between the pool and Dining Hall. That wall was built in 1976 by the first ever staff at Camp ASCCA. The new wall should be completed this fall and funding made possible by the Andalusia Rotary Club Foundation.
