This week, Camp ASCCA received a very large donation of treated lumber products from Ala-Ga Wood Preserving. Mr. Chan Brinson, owner of the company, authorized this tremendous donation making it possible to continue to upgrade our programs and facilities. It took 6 truck loads to bring it all in!
Mr. Brinson annually donates to Camp through the Alexander City Rotary Golf Challenge, but this year he went over-and-above with his contributions. The Rotary Golf Challenge event supports Camp ASCCA as well as Children’s Harbor. Needless to say, staff from Children’s Harbor will be making a “few” trips over to ASCCA to pick up their share as needed for their Lake Martin facility.
