This year’s Fun Fish Weekend may well have been the most successful, yet.
…Fun Fish has become one of our most popular annual events and continues to draw great crowds…
Geni Payne did a terrific job bringing in fishermen & fisherwomen from around the state to participate.
The Talladega Daily Home has done great story on the weekend. Please check it out at the Daily Home Online.
Larry White writes:
Last weekend about 35 avid fishermen brought their boats to Camp ASCCA — the Alabama Special Camp for Children and Adults, located in Jackson’s Gap, Ala. — for a very rewarding event, the Camp ASCCA Fishing Weekend.
Most of the campers only get to fish one day a year and this was it. Each of the boaters took an ASCCA Camper and a helper out fishing in his boat (“campers” are children or adults, teenagers to mid-50s, with disabilities.)
Camp ASCCA has a new site! ASCCA Friends. It is our own personal social media network. Also, did you know that Camp ASCCA is in Facebook? If you are too, please go on over and “Friend” Camp ASCCA and join the Camp ASCCA Facebook group, too.
