…All the pretty horses

ecently I visited Storybook Farms in Opelika, AL. Storybook Farms is a therapeutic ridding facility that caters to youth with disabilities. They have a beautiful facility with friendly staff and wonderful horses. I was able to spend some time with the owner and find out more about the different programs they offer. They were amazing and I was able to pick up a few ideas that will help improve our own summer ridding program.smallhoney.jpg

Speaking of our summer ridding program, we will have Honey in the rotation for the summer as well as returning superstar Velma. But we have a new guy in the mix for this summer. A quarter horse gelding named CK is joining the gang for the summer. He is a big, beautiful horse that is looking forward to spending his summer here at Camp ASCCA and we are happy to have him. Summer is just around the corner and we’re so excited about seeing everyone again this summer! See you soon!!!

Camp ASCCA has a new site! ASCCA Friends. It is our own personal social media network. Also, did you know that Camp ASCCA is in Facebook? If you are too, please go on over and “Friend” Camp ASCCA and join the Camp ASCCA Facebook group, too.
