Lee-Scott Academy :: Student Interview

S tudents from Lee-Scott Academy came to visit Camp ASCCA this morning. These students applied and were chosen to be in a philanthropy class for three weeks during the summer at the end of which each student has a minimum of $700 they can give to any organization they choose.

The students were able to get a view of what Camp ASCCA is all about. They were taken on a tour around the camp where they were able to see our high ropes course, the zip tower, the lake front, the demo farm and the fish pond. The students were really amazed at how we were able to adapt every activity to make to where anyone can do them. The students also tried one of our group element activities and found out very quickly that it’s not as easy as it seemed. The students were really inspired to get a group from their school to come back for a weekend retreat in the fall.
