PR Intern :: Danika Kmetz
Danika Kmetz is one of three public relations interns for Camp ASCCA this summer. Danika is from Coal City, Ill. and attends Illinois State
University.
She is majoring in public relations with minors in Spanish and business administration. Danika will graduate in May 2009. She is president of ISU’s Public Relations Student Society of America, a member of Guerrilla Theatre Troupe and chair of the Redbird Entertainment Committee. Danika also studied abroad in Spain for a semester last spring.
Danika found Camp ASCCA by using the search engine Google to research media relations internships, and we were one of the first things to attract her attention. Danika has worked for a 4-H camp in Illinois for five years and thought Camp ASCCA would be the perfect place for her to combine her two passions: camp and public relations.
As a public relations intern, Danika, roams Camp ASCCA with a camera interviewing and taking pictures of campers and staff to produce the movies seen posted daily.
After graduation Danika would like to go into international public relations. She wants to move to Europe and work for a public relations agency in Spain or England.
