Head Counselor returns for sixth summer

Nathan McNair has started his sixth summer at Camp ASCCA! Nathan was a counselor for two years, a unit leader for two years, and he is now in his second year as head counselor.

Nathan is a special education major at the University of Athens. He believes that the skills he has gained at Camp ASCCA will greatly benefit him in his future career.

As head counselor, Nathan will be wearing many hats. Nathan will assign campers to counselors, be in charge of the CIT’s, organize camp activities, supervise the program staff and all counselors and help counselors with their campers. He also works to keep staff morale high.

Nathan has been a big part of Camp ASCCA. He has worked at the Dadeville campus, and this is his first year working at Camp Seale Harris. Nathan said that his favorite part of camp is the campers and ensuring they have a great time.
