Another Rotary Visit - Hello Birmingham!

Friday afternoon, Dana Rickman and I had the pleasure of attending the Birmingham East Rotary Club meeting. We were invited to speak about Camp ASCCA by one of our current board members, Mr. Ron Layne.

The meeting was held at St. Vincent’s East Hospital where we enjoyed a wonderful meal and the gracious company of Mr. Layne and his fellow Rotarians. After lunch, I began the presentation by speaking about my personal experiences with Camp ASCCA. Relating how much Camp ASCCA changes lives is an easy task for me because I have so many personal examples and stories to draw from. I always enjoy speaking about my time at camp!

I also introduced Mrs. Dana Rickman, our Director of Marketing and Communications. Dana spoke about camp’s upcoming summer schedule, and our newest activity, the Splash Pad. The date for our summer Board Meeting as well as Rotary Day was also announced. On July 17^th, Camp ASCCA is looking forward to hosting both of these events.

Dana and I enjoyed being able to give a presentation together and we thank the East Birmingham Rotary Club, Mr. Layne, and Club President Danny Cooner for giving us the opportunity to do so!
