Camp Work Days
This week our campers did not arrive until Tuesday afternoon. Even though our campers had not arrived our staff was hard at work Monday to keep Camp ASCCA a beautiful and safe place for campers and staff alike.
We had program staff working in our garden pulling weeds, painting the horse ring, cleaning boats and hanging leap anchors in trees. It was hard work, but the end result was, as always, a better Camp ASCCA.
Each staff member worked with each other to get the job done faster. Everyone wanted to work hard and keep our wonderful Camp ASCCA looking up to date. Our staff was covered in paint, dirt and a lot of sweat, but don’t think they didn’t get any fun Monday. Our Splash pad and pool was opened, after chores were completed, for the staff to enjoy before dinner. Hard work and perseverance is always rewarded at Camp ASCCA.
Even Ms. Pam, our camp nurse, pitched in by distributing popsicles to the staff for a cool break.
The staff is constantly doing things to improve our campus. Whether it be picking up a piece of stray trash or adding a new attraction or updating the ones we already have our staff is here to put in the time and effort to create a more welcoming place for all to enjoy.
Camp ASCCA has a new site! ASCCA Friends. It is our own personal social media network.
