his past week I got the pleasure of meeting and and talking to one of the campers from APAC as well as one of their counselors. Camp APAC is Alabama’s Post Adoption Connection’s Summer camp for children who have either been adopted, lived in a foster homer, or live with adopted/foster siblings.
This is Justin and Beverly’s first year at camp and both of them are having a blast While here campers are treated like movie stars from appearances on the red carpet to having an all exclusive luau at the pool. Campers can be seen throughout the day at all Camp ASCCA’s various program areas. The campers also got the opportunity to hear motivational speakers who had similar living situations as they did growing up. The campers were really able to connect to their speakers and took what they had to say to heart. They campers were really sad when it came time to leave but everyone was already talking about next year.

Camp ASCCA has a new site! ASCCA Friends. It is our own personal social media network.
