Alabama’s Special Camp for Children & Adults

An ‘Utter’ with an MDA camper

Climbing the treehouse at Camp ASCCA gives campers the opportunity to pull themselves up to a platform high in the trees. After completing the climb, they get to enjoy a beautiful view of Lake Martin.
For campers like Amanda, this may be the only time they get to climb a tree each year. Amanda, an MDA camper has been coming to camp for four summers. She enjoys coming back to camp for the activities and the great counselors.

In her ‘utter,’ Amanda shares her favorite parts of camp and why other kids should come. Although she is graduating from the program, she wants to join us for Camp ASCCA next year! Check it out here:

You’re right, it’s hard to beat the view of Lake Martin, especially where ASCCA is located.
