Meet Katie :: A session 1 camper

Session one has begun! ASCCA is filled with both new and returning campers this week.

Katie, 9, is back for her second year of summer camp. She said she keeps returning because it is so fun. Katie enjoys all of the activities, but she was most excited to go to the splash pad. The splash pad, ASCCA’s own accessible water park, is the newest program area. Katie can not wait to try it out! She is looking forward to the 4th of July fireworks as well.

Along with the activities, Katie enjoys seeing the returning staff members and making new friends. She enjoys spending time hanging out with the campers and counselors in the cabin.

Last year, the staff members chose Katie as the “Camper of the Week.” She will surely win over the hearts of counselors this year too.
