This week is session two! Here at Camp ASCCA we are in full swing. This year we have brought the Dadeville campus campers to the main ASCCA campus. We are excited to have them here at the main campus.
One of those campers is Gerald. He has been attending camp for many years, and he said he just loves it and all the staff. Gerald said his favorite part about camp is the food, but we know he loves it all.
Gerald works throughout the year and takes a week long vacation to come to camp every year. He says he keeps coming back every year because camp is like his second home. Gerald told me he loves coming to camp to get away from the house for a while and have fun.
He is 65 years young, and Gerald is just as happy to be at camp as some of the younger children we had last week. Camp is a special place for people of all ages! We cannot wait to hear more from Gerald as the week continues!
