Holly and Cassandra climb high in the trees

Climbing to Camp ASCCA’s tree house is a great achievement. This week, our session two campers had the opportunity to take a stab at hoisting themselves up to the top.

Campers pull themselves up to a platform in a tree, and have the opportunity to see Lake Martin and the tops of the trees if they reach the top.

Two campers, Holly and Cassandra, visited the tree house this afternoon. This was Holly’s second time climbing to the top of the it. She was a little nervous at first, but with the encouragement of everyone, she was able to do it.

At first Cassandra did not want to attempt the activity. With some helpful words from our adventure staff, Cassandra decided to try it out. Although she was scared, she made it to the top. When she reached the platform high in the trees, she didn’t want to get down because it was so cool up there.
