Alabama’s Special Camp for Children & Adults

Nurse Peggy Long :: Learned Something New About Nurse Peggy, Too

For two years, Peggy Long has come to Camp ASCCA to work with us as a nurse.  It is a rewarding experience for her.  We’re lucky to have her and the other three nurses, too.  Believe me.  We know it! Camp ASCCA’s summer camp season wouldn’t be the same without these remarkable ladies.

You’ll love Nurse Peggy. I really enjoy her style, ya’ know. Peggy’s seen the world and yet, she’s enamored with a little place in Jacksons Gap, Alabama. Too cool.

So, what’s the big news I learned about our Peggy? Well, I must admit while sitting in the PR intern office I overheard her share a bit about her background in the U. S. Army.

Did ya’ know, she’s actually a Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) in the U.S. Army. How cool! She speaks with us in this video at the conclusion of check-in as Teen Week ‘08 gets under way!

We learned a bit more about Peggy’s background, what she hopes parents know about how we care for their children, and Peggy’s take on the annual Teen Week and Prom experience. Hope you enjoy the video.
