First Time Sports Camper, Joe

This week we are hosting our annual Sports Camp. The campers get to participate in various activities that are not normally offered around camp, such as, Sit Skiing, Wheelchair Basketball, Skeet Shooting, and learn how to SCUBA.

Joe, a first time camper, has really enjoyed sports camp. He says that his favorite activity has been Sit Skiing. Joe has really been fun to have this week as he seems to always keep his counselors laughing.

Sports Camp allows us to mix children with disabilities with children without. The campers really create a tight bond throughout the week helping each other out in whatever the activity may be. The campers make lasting friendships and have a week of fun! You can hear more from Joe in interview below:
