Teen week, is probably one of the most special weeks throughout the entire summer. Campers are always so excited and so loving once they get here.
The counselors and staff, I believe get as much if not more from the campers than they get from us. They teach how to appreciate so many things the we so often take for granted but they also appreciate and love, the love and respect that we give them by 
treating them as a indidual and not just as a “person in a wheelchair”.
This year’s prom theme was “This is Home” and one of our unit leaders,Monica Whittington, played and dedicated the song for the campers before dinner. Camper, Zach Woolley, also spoke to the staff thanking for everything that they do and blessed the meal.
This week was truly a touching week to everyone. For campers and counselors alike this made everything we do, worth it. You can watch the special video footage below:
