Camp ASCCA Journal - Therapeutic Recreation

Alice,Kelly, and Robin have been friends almost as long as Kelly has been born!  The three actually met through their parents, and they have been atteding Camp ASCCA for quite some time.

Robin has been coming to camp for about 15 years.  She enjoys all of the activities here at camp, but after a helpful hint from Kelly,it was decided she likes Music the best.  Robin also likes having her special friends around her because they have fun together.  Her favorite staff members are Jonathon and Sara Latimer.  She calls Jonathon her “hero” because he helped her out on the zipline.  Sara Latimer was her counselor, and she liked her because she was fun.

Kelly enjoys music and the talent show.  In her interview, she told me that she wins the talent show every year.  She likes having fun, doing crafts and making friends.  Kelly also really really likes Matt Rickman, our camp director, and her best friends, Robin and Alice.

Alice likes Arts and Crafts the best because it is inside!  She enjoys getting to know friends.  Alice thinks that Camp ASCCA is the best place to come to get away from home and everyday living.  She would tell new campers that this is a great place to come and everyone here really cares.
