Session 5, Camp Mobile Rotary, was full of veteran campers. Many of these campers have been coming for more than 10 years, and they have developed lasting friendships with other campers.
I had the opportunity to interview two best friends, Margaret and Donna, while they were at the splash pad. The two were both enjoying visiting the splash pad for the first time!
Margaret said that she was excited to try it when she first got here.
The two actually met at a different camp, but they have been attending Camp ASCCA together for quite some time. It’s been so long, that they have forgotten how many years they have known each other.
Donna has been coming to ASCCA for about 20 years. She loves all of the activities, and of course, all the guys! Donna thinks Camp ASCCA is just wonderful. Margaret’s favorite activities are horseback, boatrides, and the zipline. She too enjoys the boys. In fact, both Donna and Margaret have boyfriends here!
Margaret believes the love at camp is what makes it special, and she also likes learning things. Donna thinks the respect for other people is what makes camp special.
In their interview below, Donna and Margaret talk about their favorite parts of camp, why it is so fun and they give some advice to new campers. Check it out here:
