Ryan Niblett Talks About his Favorite Parts of Camp!

Last Week during Camp ASCCA’s Mobile Rotary Week I had the pleasure of meeting Ryan
Niblett. Ryan has been coming to camp “a lot,” as he put it. He told me he likes to play on the new splash pad and sports and games.
His favorite evening activities last week were the pool party and our independent film festival. Early in the week our full-time staff videoed each cabin’s made-up skit. The staff then edited and produced a final film. Then on Wednesday for the evening program the campers were able to watch everyone’s film. Ryan enjoyed seeing what each cabin came up with for their skit and being able to see himself and his friends on the big screen!
When I talked to Ryan at the splash pad he had been running through the water spouts, playing with the water guns and standing under the dumping buckets. He was having a blast on that hot summer day hanging out with other campers and counselors.
Ryan, like many other campers, was ready for the dance we had Thursday night. He was excited to have Kayla, one of our counselors, as his date. The dance is the final evening activity and is anticipated the whole week by almost everyone!
Last week Ryan always wanted to be a helper at his activity. He was a great help to many of us!
