AP flies through the air at zipline

Last week’s campers really enjoyed each activity Camp ASCCA has to offer.  One of our most popular activities is the zipline.

I watched on as Adam, “AP,” hoisted himself up to the platform.  He gave himself encouraging words before he launched himself down the zipline.  Everyone could hear his cheers as he flew by.

After he was finished, I had a chance to interview AP about Camp ASCCA.  AP has been coming to camp for seven years.  He enjoys coming to camp because he loves all of the activities.  His favorite activity is fishing.  He also has made good friends with some of our staff members.  He said that his counselor, Frog, has been great to him. Tom, another one of our counselors, has also become one of AP’s close friends.

AP thinks that everyone should come to camp because it is fun, it’s a good workout, and it’s a blast!  I had the opportunity to sit with AP at meals this past week, and it is quite obvious that he loves camp.  He was always excited for each day and was happy to be here.
