Drake Middle School Day Camps 2008

On September 15-19, 2008, all the 6th grade students took turns visiting Camp ASCCA during day camps.  Each day the groups arrived at 9:30 a.m. ready for a full day of fun in the sun.

There were three groups rotating through programs each day. In the morning, the groups would visit the zipline, participate in group elements, and take part in a nature study. After a “sack lunch” at noon, the groups would then enjoy the pool, the low ropes course, and a GPS navigation experience.

We are happy to host Drake Middle School each year and are proud of their smart, well-behaved students. To find out more about Drake Middle School, visit www.auburnschools.org/drake.

According to their Vision, “Auburn City Schools, in partnership with families and community, will create a safe, nuturing, learning environment where a a challenging curriculum, high academic standards, and respect for diversity will maximize each student’s intellectual, artistic, technological, and physical potential to become a productive member of our global society”.  Thank you Drake for including us in your Vision for students!
