Alabama’s Special Camp for Children & Adults

Dadeville’s Ethan Club Presented with Award

Camp ASCCA often benefits from the Lake Martin community - the beautiful area in which it is located.  One local women’s club in particular has done an outstanding job of supporting camp’s campers with disabilities this past year.

The Ethan Club is one Dadeville, Alabama’s oldest women’s service organizations. Established in 1957, the mission of the club is to contribute to projects that will benefit the citizens of the Dadeville community. To learn more, see an earlier Ethan Club post on our blog.

As a member of this terrific club and representing Camp ASCCA, I attended the recent October 9th meeting and was able to present the members with a Camp ASCCA “Special Recognition Award”. This award is annually presented to groups, ministries, professionals, industries, and others who have made significant contributions to Camp ASCCA. The Ethan Club impacted our campers this year by contributing two full campership gifts of $675 each!

I am shown here with Ethan Club vice-president, Sherri Williams. Thank you ladies for recognizing the importance of Camp’s mission and being such faithful contributors and volunteers!
