A Music-Filled Wednesday at Camp ASCCA

As our week continues, we have more and more fun every day! This week each day has been a themed day; today is “music Wednesday”! Everyone brought out their finest concert tees, band tees, and some even dressed the part of their favorite artists. At breakfast, it was very exciting to see which bands and artists everyone chose to represent!

For free choice this afternoon, campers had a new and interactive activity to go to, “Music with Anna and Franklin”. Anna is our arts and crafts and music program staff this summer, and Franklin is one of our boy cabin unit leaders! Both are well-versed when it comes to music, and they put on a show for campers. The duo took requests, and were able to play just about anything that was thrown at them! It was very impressive to see the two on stage. They got the whole room to dance, sing, and some even to join in.

We also had the treat of some very special guests this afternoon. From Cheaha cabin, we had Tyler along with counselors Parker and Sam. Tyler played along with Franklin on the guitar. Whereas Parker played some make-shift drums and Sam the trombone! We also had Brandon from Davis rock it on the piano! This afternoon was a great way for campers to get to show off some of their many talents. It is evident talent is abundant here at Camp ASCCA! To conclude our “music Wednesday”, we will be having a concert tonight!
