ASCCA Campers Beat the House!

The first full day of Session 2 has been full of winners! Campers were able to earn all kinds of prizes at our casino night, where they battled program staff in card games like blackjack or tried to beat the house at bingo. All of our campers enjoy the challenge, but we think they enjoy the prizes just a little more. Bingo winner Gabby was certainly overjoyed with the beanie baby raccoon she won.

Our champions didn’t wait until casino night to flex their talents. Lunchtime was buzzing with excitement for all of our ASCCA achievers, including new camper Tyler Quinton, who won an award for his bravery at zipline. Longtime ASCCA attendee Mandi Miller got a special achievement of her own at the game room today when she broke the record for highest Wii bowling score in all of Camp ASCCA! Her opponent, PR Intern Charlie, was not so successful. Matt Rickman was similarly schooled when he played Jeanie McClendon in putt-putt golf — losing for the tenth year in a row. Is it even possible for our staff to make a comeback? We think not; these campers are just way too talented!
