We are so thrilled to award Ronald Houston (also known as grandpa Ron) the Camper of the Year award. This is a prestigious award given to a camper each year that is voted on by staff here at ASCCA. Ronald Houston embodies the spirit of Camp ASCCA and anyone who knows Ron knows how joyful, hilarious, and amazing he is. Grandpa Ron is always smiling, laughing and is quick to crack a witty joke. One of his favorite Camp traditions is to bring many cookies to throw a cookie party for campers and counselors. This year everyone got to enjoy a cookie with Ron as we celebrated with him during the concert with the Vegabonds. He loves Camp ASCCA and says it is one of his favorite places to be. We love Ron and are blessed to have him attend Camp each year.
