UNA/Hall Foundation Camp
The annual Hall Foundation Camp combines campers, volunteers and teachers for the first week-long camp of the summer. The Hall Foundation makes an annual donation that provides the opportunity for groups from Montgomery and Dothan to attend Camp ASCCA. We are also joined every year by students from the University of North Alabama who volunteer their time as a part of their studies.
Hi my daughter has spina bifida and I would like to sign her up for camp. She also has a twin sister that would like to go also. Could you please email me witjh any info that may help me send them both.
Hi Veronica, thank you for asking. There are a couple of spots open for this summer for your daughter with spina bifida. Go ahead and register for summer camp and you’ll be placed on a waiting list. Our camp director will review application and update you on status and session when/if one opens for her. Additionally, and assumming her sister doesn’t have a disability, we have weekend family camps in October and April that would be a good fit for her to attend as well. If they are under 18, a family member over 18 will need to accompany them to a family camp. If they are 18 and older, the sister can be her family member caretaker for the weekend.
